Welcome to NITOC, Welcome to Arkansas!

Your family is invited to kick off NITOC at Monday Night's Social!

After a busy day of checking in, Stoa U, Parli prelims, and greeting a cadre of friends old and new, head to the Quad at the center of campus for the Monday Social. It will begin with a BBQ on the Lawn, then move indoors to the Bill George Arena for an opening Welcome to NITOC followed by a FREE concert by singer/songwriter, world renowned guitarist, and Arkansas native, Jason Truby. We are thrilled to offer the opportunity to spend an evening with Jason.

Dinner on the Ground

For dinner we will be serving pulled pork and chicken, baked beans, potato salad, roll, peach cobbler, iced tea (sweet & unsweet), lemonade and water, all for $7.00/head. For those who prefer a vegetarian entree, a black bean burger option is also available.* All you need is a blanket and your appetite!

Note: The price of one Monday Social dinner is included in each "Six-Pack" $99 meal package.

*The black bean burger is also gluten-free, but cannot be guaranteed as such, so those who must avoid all contact with gluten should bring their own food.

Welcome and Opening Announcements

The Board and our Arkansas hosts for the Monday Social will welcome you, give the important announcements that will prepare you for the week of NITOC, and open our time together in gratefulness to the Lord.

Jason Truby Concert

Jason Truby is known for his innovative and unique finger style guitar. He began his career 1989 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jason has a passion for acoustic music, geared toward classical, experimental and progressive composition.

Monday’s concert will feature his latest album, entitled "Our Time Here", which was released in 2012. This album is about faith, family, friends and the beauty and struggles we all face. The album clearly shows that Jason knows our only hope is Jesus Christ.

Each of Jason’s performances is an exciting and beautiful symphonic free-play that includes acoustic and electronic music and his wonderful vocal ability. Jason gives every audience a unique performance, which makes every one of his shows a not-to-be missed event.
